Dictionaries Tasks

There are a number of tasks that can be performed in the Dictionaries workspace. The tasks are split into a Dictionary Tasks list and an Attribute Tasks list.

Click Dictionary Tasks to view the Dictionary Tasks list:

• The Import from File task allows you to import a new Dictionary from a file.
• The Download Updates task allows License Manager to download and apply updates to the Dictionary from the License Dashboard website.
• The Download Full Dictionary task allows License Manager to download a complete Dictionary from the License Dashboard website. This will replace your current dictionary.
• The Export task allows you to export a copy of your Dictionary.
• The Dictionary Maintenance task allows you to delete unwanted Manufacturer and Product definitions from your Dictionary.

Click Attribute Tasks to view the Attribute Tasks list:

• The Import Product Attributes task allows you to import customized product values from Excel.
• The Export Product Attributes task allows you to export the customizable values for products to Excel.
• The Import Manufacturer Attributes task allows you to import customized manufacturer values from Excel.
